28th April until 9th May inclusive. “Images of Spring” Exhibition at the Clove Building, 4 Maguire Street, London SE1 2NQ. For details see: https://theclovebuilding.com/the-clove-building/
The landlord is a keen supporter of the arts and wishes to offer us the opportunity to exhibit and sell some of our best artwork in the foyer with a general theme of “Images of Spring. Although this exhibition is open for all it is primarily for “established” artists and would suit pieces with a starting range above £150.00. However we are not baring pieces below that price. The final choice of art to be on exhibition will ultimately rest with owner of the building. This is a fantastic opportunity as the owner has many prestigious buildings across the City of London including Covent Garden which he also displays artwork and hosts art events in support of its occupancies.
Art will be displayed on easels and tables.
Hanging charges and commission will be reasonable as the owner very much likes to support local art initiatives. We aim to provide a prestigious catalogue of work on sale along with some narrative about the artist and artwork so exhibitors must be able to contribute to it please. It will contain details of how to purchase the artwork.
.
Please note that here is no passing footfall. The “footfall” will consist of the occupancies and businesses within the building, their clients, relatives and friends.
No stewarding will be necessary as there is very good security 24/7. However they would like us to hold a one off open lunchtime event, for the occupancies, to meet artists and organisers which exhibitors will be expected to attend please.
Exhibitors will be expected to bring their own artwork and collect it after the exhibition although we will look at sharing some transport. The location is conveniently just outside the City Congestion Zone. Parking will be available right outside the building for drop off / pickup.
Please let Paul Stringfellow know if you are interested by Friday 14th March by emailing to [email protected]. This a wonderful opportunity that should not be missed. Further details will be announced once we are sure we have enough interest.
