we will cease sales through our books on the close of the exhibition therefore, we shall rely on the integrity of artist to let us know of any aftersales.
all Exhibitors to be available for stewarding where required
all Exhibitors to be responsible for dismantling exhibits and removing as required
all exhibits to be in labelled on reverse, in good order, clean and strung appropriately
no clip frames
unframed canvasses acceptable as long as they are well strung
all transportation packaging of exhibits to be removed from the Exhibitions, none to be stored.
adherence to all rules of Exhibition
Exhibition Committee Responsible for:
defining and managing the sales and hanging process including all monies collected, accurate record keeping, packaging and distributing of sales proceeds after the exhibition
a full schedule of income and costs which will be provided for each exhibition with traceable audit trail back to individual bank, card, cash and cheque transactions
having the final say on exhibits
providing safe venues for the exhibitions by carrying out full risk assessments of the venues
promoting and publicising the event
ensuring venues have adequate footfall
following up all leads put forward by Society members
being present to receive and return pieces
arranging display of pieces at the Exhibition
the responsibility of payment to artists
providing public liability insurance
providing information in respect of Exhibitions and respond to enquiries
