We are delighted to announce something truly unique for our creative community! Join us for a mindful, nature-inspired workshop exploring the beautiful technique of Cyanotype.
Using natural forms and light exposure, you will learn how to produce stunning Prussian blue prints. These unique pieces can stand alone as beautiful artwork or serve as a brilliant base for watercolor paintings, collages, and mixed media. Your own limitless creativity will lead the way!
Meet Your Instructor
You will be led through the workshop by Hannah Davies. Hannah holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Norwich University of the Arts and has been passionately teaching fine art and photography for over 10 years.
Materials & What to Bring
All essential materials are supplied and included in the price.
Personalize your art: You are highly encouraged to bring along your own organic forms to work with, such as leaves, flowers, grasses, stems, and seed heads. You can also send your favourite image that Hannah will prepare for you to work on during the workshop. Details will be provided after you have booked.

We are delighted to announce a full-day workshop led by professional artist Peter Sutton. Whether you are looking to refine your cityscapes or capture the raw energy of the sea, this is an opportunity not to be missed. This has been arranged especially for you by Alison Berry from our events team.
About the Artist
Peter Sutton studied at Ravensbourne College of Art and is a seasoned practitioner with an extensive exhibition history. His work has been featured in group shows at the Whitworth Art Gallery and solo exhibitions at the Peterborough City Museum and the Mina Renton Gallery in Pimlico. Having taught watercolours for many years at B.A.E.C, Peter brings a wealth of educational experience to the society. His personal work often explores the evocative theme of abandoned structures yielding to the forces of nature.
Workshop Schedule
The day will be divided into two focused sessions:
Morning (AM): Techniques for painting architectural and city townscapes.
Afternoon (PM): Dedicated to seascapes and individual creative development.
What to Bring
Reference images you would like to paint (for both city and sea themes).
Your own watercolour paints, brushes, and paper.
A packed lunch (Tea and coffee will be provided during our 45-minute lunch break at 12:00 pm).

Northern LightsNebula
My name is Lee Nightingale and I am a member of the Bromley Art Society, you may have meet me before.
I have been asked to run a workshop on the 19th of November in oil pastels looking at The northern Lights and a Nebular (where the stars are borne) using different techniques on black paper.
We will run from 10am to around 3pm with a lunch break 12.30 to 1.15 with refreshments (please bring your own refreshments if you wish).
All materials provided but of course you are welcome to bring your own.
Cost will be £25.00 per person with a reduction of £5.00 for the people who regularly pay monthly to attend the Wednesdays sessions and who have already contributed to the hire of the hall. Guests are welcome provided there is space.
